Everyone is welcome to attend Migratory Bird Hikes, from nature lovers, to photographers and birders. Programs will meet at the Forest Park Nature Center building with a quick introduction. Bring your binoculars, water, hiking clothes etc. In addition, binoculars will be available for loan. Most hikes are low-impact. Ages: Adults 18+ Advance registration is required. Please email kparke@peoriaparks.org ahead of time with questions or concerns. Fees are $5 per person or FREE for FPNC members.

In this fast paced world it can be hard to find time to slow down. Join our Naturalists as we practice mindfulness and reconnect with nature. During this program we will escape into the forest and learn about meditation, nature journaling, and mindfulness. The race is on! Who will make it to their breeding grounds first? Join our naturalists for a “March Madness” style tournament, trying to discover who is the top migratory bird.
