Step into a little holiday magic at Luthy Lights, where the Botanical Garden sparkles with twinkling lights, festive displays and plenty of merry surprises around every corner. Wander glowing garden paths, soak in the sights of the season and warm up with a festive drink or treat from the Merry Mug.
New this year, you can add a spin around the ice to your holiday visit. Ice skating is now part of the Luthy Lights experience, with the outdoor rink also open during select daytime and non-Luthy Lights hours. Whether you come for the lights, the skating or a little bit of both, Luthy is ready to make the season shine.
Luthy Lights is a walk-through holiday experience throughout Luthy Botanical Garden, with illuminated displays, seasonal décor and festive touches throughout the Garden.
Stop by the Merry Mug, a holiday pop-up bar inside the Conservatory serving seasonal drinks and treats. Outside, visit the Merry Mallow for a s’mores kit and other seasonal favorites to enjoy while you explore.
This year, visitors can also add outdoor ice skating to their trip. Learn more below.

Make a few new holiday memories on the ice! This year, enjoy outdoor ice skating just steps from Luthy Botanical Garden. The rink is located south of the Garden, between the pickleball and tennis courts.
Skating is offered in scheduled 75-minute sessions. Each session has a set start and end time, and tickets are valid for that specific session. Admission includes skate rental. You are also welcome to bring your own skates; admission pricing remains the same.
Advanced online tickets are recommended to reserve your preferred skating session. Walk-up skaters are welcome throughout each session as space is available. Each session is limited to 60 skaters.
Whether you pair your skate with a visit to Luthy Lights or stop by during the day, it’s a new way to enjoy the holiday season at Glen Oak Park.
