The office of the Secretary of The Pleasure Driveway and Park District of Peoria will be open for the purpose of accepting Candidate Nomination Petitions for Trustees Election to be held Tuesday, April 6, 2027, for the following offices:

- Three (3) TRUSTEES (4-YEAR TERM) – CENTRAL DISTRICT
President- At Large Information
It is necessary for those seeking office of PRESIDENT – AT LARGE of the Pleasure Driveway and Park District of Peoria to submit Nomination Petitions to the office of the Secretary at the Bonnie W. Noble Center for Park District Administration, 1125 West Lake Avenue, Peoria IL. A minimum of 251 signatures of Park District qualified voters is required. Petitions may not be circulated until Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
Trustee- Central District Information
It is necessary for those seeking office of TRUSTEE OF THE CENTRAL ELECTORAL DISTRICT of the Pleasure Driveway and Park District of Peoria to submit Nomination Petitions to the office of the Secretary at the Bonnie W. Noble Center for Park District Administration, 1125 West Lake Avenue, Peoria IL. A minimum of 121 signatures of Park District qualified voters is required. Petitions may not be circulated until Tuesday, August 25, 2026.
DATES FOR FILING PETITIONS:
No petitions will be accepted before or after the dates listed below. Petitions will also be accepted via US Mail.

- LAST DATE to file petitions: MONDAY, NOVEMBER 23, 2026 (please see office hours below)
NOTICE OF SIMULTANEOUS FILING LOTTERY DRAWINGS FOR BALLOT PLACEMENT:
As required by Illinois Election Code (10 ILCS 5/7-12, 10-6.2),a lottery drawing will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 24, 2026, in the Board Room of the Bonnie W. Noble Center for Park Administration, 1125 W. Lake Avenue, Peoria, Illinois, to determine the ballot order for the petitions simultaneously filed at 5:00 p.m. on November 23, 2026 for Park Board President and Central District Trustee positions for the Pleasure Driveway and Park District of Peoria, Illinois, for the Consolidated Election on April 6, 2027. The lottery is open to the public. All candidates involved in the lottery will be notified. The results of the lottery will be posted at https://peoriaparks.org/trustee-elections/ and will be provided in writing to each candidate.
