Park Trails

The Peoria Park District offers many opportunities for walking, hiking, and biking throughout its parks and natural areas. The paths and trails range from paved, level walkways to rugged, steep hiking trails, providing recreational opportunities for individuals and families of all ages and abilities. These trails promote healthy, active lifestyles by encouraging outdoor physical activity, exercise, stress reduction, and opportunities to connect with nature. Below is an overview of trails and paths throughout the Park District.

All trails are open dawn to dusk. Trails have been carefully routed to help protect sensitive natural areas, so we ask all visitors to please stay on designated trails.
