Trustee 2023 Election Process

The office of the Secretary of The Pleasure Driveway and Park District of Peoria will be open for the purpose of accepting Candidate Nomination Petitions for Trustees Election to be held  Tuesday, April 4, 2023, for the following offices:

OFFICES TO BE ELECTED:
3 TRUSTEES (4-YEAR TERM) – CENTRAL DISTRICT
1 TRUSTEE (2-YEAR TERM) – SOUTHERN DISTRICT
1 PRESIDENT (4-YEAR-TERM) – AT LARGE

Central Electoral District

It is necessary for those seeking office of TRUSTEE OF THE CENTRAL ELECTORAL DISTRICT,  of the Pleasure Driveway and Park District of Peoria to submit Central District Trustee Nonpartisan Petition and Candidate Packet 2023 to the office of the Secretary in the Administrative Offices, The Bonnie W. Noble Center for Park Administration, 1125 W. Lake Avenue, Peoria IL. A minimum of 120 signatures of Park District qualified voters is required. Petitions may not be circulated until September 20, 2022.

Southern Electoral District

It is necessary for those seeking office of TRUSTEE OF THE SOUTHERN ELECTORAL DISTRICT of the Pleasure Driveway and Park District of Peoria to submit Southern District Trustee Nonpartisan Petition and  Candidate Packet 2023 to the office of the Secretary in the Administrative Offices, The Bonnie W. Noble Center for Park Administration, 1125 W. Lake Avenue, Peoria IL. A minimum of 38 signatures of Park District qualified voters is required. Petitions may not be circulated until September 20, 2022.

At Large

It is necessary for those seeking office of PRESIDENT of the Pleasure Driveway and Park District of Peoria to submit President Nonpartisan Petition and  Candidate Packet 2023 to the office of the Secretary in the Administrative Offices, The Bonnie W. Noble Center for Park Administration, 1125 W. Lake Avenue, Peoria IL. A minimum of 276 signatures of Park District qualified voters is required. Petitions may not be circulated until September 20, 2022.

DATES FOR FILING PETITIONS:
The Peoria Park District Administrative Office, at the Bonnie W. Noble Center for Park Administration, 1125 W. Lake Avenue, Peoria IL 61614, will be open Monday, December 12, 2022 through Friday, December 16, 2022 from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. and Monday, December 19, 2022 from 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. (Final Day for Filing Petitions). Petitions will also be accepted via US Mail to the address above. No petitions will be accepted before or after those dates and times.

FIRST DATE to file petitions: Monday, December 12, 2022 at 8:00am

LAST DATE to file petitions: Monday, December 19, 2022 at 5:00pm (Mail in petitions must be postmarked by December 19th.)
