Recently renovated and ready for play, 18-hole Newman Golf Course is a favorite of Peoria area golfers! Newman offers 6,497 yards of challenging steep terrain, moderate ravines, deep bunkers and numerous mature trees.

We offer a wide-variety of lessons at the Peoria Park District. For private lessons, contact the Golf Learning Center or talk with a pro on your next visit to a course.

Current Lessons

Newman is a 6,496 yard, Par 71, 18 hole course with challenging steep terrain, moderate ravines, and generous greens making it popular with low to medium handicap golfers. Newman can frustrate even the best golfers, but the varied hole layouts and well-groomed grounds it will keep you coming back. Practice field, chipping area, putting green, and a full-service pro-shop and snack shop available.

PPD Golf Membership: The best deal by PAR!

A membership gets your unlimited access to all PPD courses (Kellogg, Kellogg Executive 9, Madison and Newman Golf Courses), and makes it easier to get on the green and play as much as you like!

PPD Golf Memberships are an affordable option for:

Golfers who play at least 20 rounds of golf each year OR
Golfers who require more flexibility and want to play fewer holes as their schedules allow OR
Members under the age of 17 who can golf as much as they want for only $10!

Partner2Play Membership Program:

The Peoria Park District offers a membership referral program called the “Partner 2 Play” program. In this program, a customer or “member” who wants to benefit from the program will find a “partner” to join the club. Bring a new guest to join the club and each of you receive a reduced season membership for all four PPD Golf Courses! The average sacings in 50%!
