Columbia Park Ribbon Cutting Celebration

The Peoria Park District invites community members to celebrate the completion of new improvements at Columbia Park during a special ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, June 4, 2026, at 3:00 p.m.
The celebration will also serve as a kickoff to summer activities throughout the Peoria Park District, highlighting opportunities for families and residents to stay active and engaged all season long.
Following the ribbon cutting, guests are invited to enjoy a special Parks on Tap event featuring the District’s mobile TapHouse, live entertainment, food trucks, and family-friendly activities hosted by the Rec ‘n Roll program. Additional activities will be provided by the neighboring McClure Branch Library.
