Clyde West Fishing Derby

Reel in some fun at the annual Clyde West Fishing Derby! Join us for a day of adventure at the Glen Oak Lagoon, freshly stocked with plenty of catfish, largemouth bass, and bluegills. Whether you’re learning to fish or have been fishing your whole life, the lagoon is the place to be.
Fishing is open for kids 16 years old and younger from 9:00am – 2:00pm. After 2:00pm the lagoon opens to the public of all ages to cast a line into the water. Peoria Park District staff will have fishing rods and bait available for the public to use for FREE from 9:00am – 2:00pm. Volunteers will be on hand to help untangle lines, off er some tips, and give out prizes!
