Yoga/Tai Chi
Yoga and Tai Chi are both great forms of exercise that can help reduce stress and improve flexibility and muscle strength. The Peoria Park District has several great opportunities for you to practice yoga and Tai Chi with classes offered at locations throughout the District. Yoga in the Park
Join us from Memorial Day to Labor Day as we travel to 5 different parks throughout Peoria Park District for a free one hour yoga class at 9AM. All classes will accommodate any level of practice. Just bring a yoga mat or towel with you. This class is for participants 13 years and older.
Drop in Yoga
- $5.00/class or purchase a 12-visit punch card for $48 (all evening class participants must purchase a punch card as the instructors do not accept cash).

Noble Center
Tuesday/Thursday – 8:30-9:30am
Tuesday / Thursday – 10:00am-11:00am (“Chair Yoga”)
Yoga with Jean Sloan
Experience the many benefits of yoga in the tranquil setting of Forest Park Nature Center. This beginning class will combine gentle postures, breathing practices, and relaxation with an emphasis on self-acceptance and discovery. No prior experience is necessary.

Tai Chi – Currently not being offered
Tai Chi reduces tension and improves circulation and balance while increasing strength and flexibility through stretching and turning within a sequence of movements that improve the health of body, mind, and spirit.
