Join us for the Founder’s Day of the USA Celebration at Sommer Farm! This special event, hosted by the Zeally Moss chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution in collaboration with the Peoria Park District, is a fantastic opportunity to honor our nation’s heritage.

Event Highlights:

  • Bring Your Own Picnic: Pack your favorite picnic foods and something to share with fellow attendees.
  • Grills Available: Fire up the grills and cook out to your heart’s content. Grills will be provided on-site.
  • Period Clothing: Embrace the spirit of the era by dressing in period clothing. It’s a great way to immerse yourself in the historical atmosphere.
  • Musket Salute: At 3:30 PM, witness a stirring musket salute that will transport you back to the days of the American Revolution.
