Check out our renovated spaces for your event including two gymnasiums with four basketball courts, four pickleball courts, and two volleyball courts. We also have a new dance studio and four brand new classrooms. Scheduled programs, open gyms, birthday parties, community classes, summer day camp and additional fun events call LRC home! Use one room or the entire facility to create the event of your dreams.

LRC is located in Lakeview Park, located right in the heart of Peoria with a playground right outside the building.

Current Programs

Drop In Programs

Pickleball

Seasonally, LRC offers drop-in Pickleball. Enjoy Pickleball Monday-Friday from 9am-noon. All indoor courts throughout the District (Lakeview Rec, RiverPlex and Fransciscan Rec) are $5/day or $40/10 visit pass. Starts September 30, 2024 and will go through May 9, 2025. Please note, any changes in the schedule will be noticed on Lakeview’s Facebook page. Pickleball will not take place on these following holidays: 11/28-29, 12/24-25, 12/31-1/1

Yoga

This fitness-based class has an emphasis on poses and breathing, and is appropriate for all ages and fitness levels. Ages 16+. Enjoy this Monday and Wednesday from 5:30-6:30pm. The cost is $6/class or $30/6 visits pass.

Motor Mites

Enjoy this fun open gym playtime for toddlers and preschool aged children at LRC! This happens Wednesday & Friday from 10am-noon; this does not take place during holiday/school breaks. $4/child or $30/10 visit pass. Starts October 2, 2024 and will go through May 9, 2025. Please note, any changes in the schedule will be noticed on Lakeview’s Facebook page. Pickleball will not take place on these following holidays: 11/27-29, 12/25-27, 1/3-5

Open Gym Birthday Party: $200*

Open Gym Party Includes:

2 hours with access to party room (Room 106) & East Gym (full gym)
40 guest maximum (includes children & adults)
Times available are:
- Fridays 6:00-8:00pm
- Saturdays 1:00-3:00pm or 4:30-6:30pm
- Sundays 1:00-3:00pm or 4:30-6:30pm
Attendant will set up the tables and chairs for the party.
Attendants will cover tables using a roll of white plastic table covering.
You may arrive 15 minutes prior to your rental for room set up.

*To reserve your date a minimum deposit of $150 plus a $50 cleaning deposit is due.

Add a Fun on the Run bouncer for a Lakeview Recreation Center birthday package for an additional $125! (for 2 hours – signed contract is required for both rental & bounce house) Please specify this option when making your reservation.

Gym Rental

Gym Rentals start at $70/hour and include free play includes mats, scooters, balls, volleyball, pickleball, basketball, gaga pit. Contact us to learn more!
