Seasonal Road Closure – Detweiller Park

The South Road at Detweiller Park will begin its seasonal closure today, November 20, 2024. It will be reopened in the spring.

Trail Closure at Tawny Oaks

The Sycamore Trail at Tawny Oaks/ Singing Woods will be closed in the near future during all firearm deer hunting seasons. While we do not allow hunting on park property, our trail is close to the property line and the neighboring properties do hunt, so the trail is closed for everyone’s safety.

The dates impacted are: October 12-14 and November 22- December 15

Trail Closure at Charter Oak Park

The trail near the lake at Charter Oak Park will be closed for repair beginning Tuesday, November 12. The closure is expected to last a few weeks.

Seasonal Closures

Starting October 14th, seasonal closure of park restrooms and water fountains will begin and continue until the end of the month. They will reopen in the spring. A portable ADA accessible restroom is in place at Bicycle Safety Town throughout the winter.
