Laura Bradley Park Road Closures

Roads with hills in Laura Bradley Park have been closed for the winter. They will reopen in the spring.

Tawny Oaks Trail Closure

The Sycamore Trail at Tawny Oaks/ Singing Woods will be CLOSED from November 19 to December 15, 2025. This is a precautionary measure for hiker safety during the Illinois firearm and muzzleloader deer hunting seasons. While hunting is NOT permitted within the Nature Preserve, this trail is very close to the property line, and neighboring property owners do hunt.

Seasonal Restroom + Fountain Closures

As temperatures drop, the Peoria Park District has seasonally shut down restrooms and water fountains across our parks and outdoor facilities.
