Camp Wokanda Trail closure– 7.10.26
Due to recent heavy rains, portions of the Lake Trail are currently closed at the washed out board walk. The stepping stone creek crossing on the River Bluff Trail has also washed out, please use alternate route at the bridge.
River Bluff Trail– 6.13.26
IL River Bluff Trail is currently blocked by a fallen tree on the bridge at Robinson Park South.
Newman Stump Restoration– July 2026
As part of routine inspections and preventative maintenance, staff identified a condition requiring restoration. The carving has been temporarily removed for restoration and will be reinstalled on a new permanent concrete base. Thank you for your patience as we preserve this community landmark.
