Even when the weather outside isn’t frightful, the Peoria Park District offers indoor ice skating for people of all ages at Owens Ice Center! Owens Center features two full-size NHL rinks which are used for private rentals, classes, and public open skate times. Public skate passes and skate rental are available!

Current Programming

The EDGE Pro Shop is open daily from 9am – 6pm. For custom work please call (309-686-3368) to schedule an appointment with the Edge Pro Shop manager.

The EDGE Cafe is open seasonally based on rink activity and offers an array of food and beverages.

Have an ICE-day by grabbing your skates or renting ours and joining us for a Public Skate.

Admission is $7/person; Skate rental is $3.50/person.

Freestyle sessions are for figure skaters to practice or receive private coach instruction only. These are not Public Skate sessions. Parents/Guardians are not allowed on the ice to skate with the participant.

Fee: $6 per session Passes: 20 Session $110 / 40 Session $220

Participants are required to sign in and pay for each session prior to entering the ice. All times are subject to change.

Developmental Hockey is limited to 20 skaters per session and only authorized personnel may provide private lessons on the sessions.

Fee Per Session: Walk-On $8 or 20 Session Pass $150; *Rat Hockey Session Fee: $10 Must be age 18 & over to participate!
