Mother’s Day Garden Tour

Luthy Botanical Gardens Mother’s Day Garden Tours…a perfect outing with Mom! Walking through the garden as Spring unfolds, we will explore the often-overlooked beauty of the Botanical Garden. Plants within our collections, that have a seasonal presence will be spotlighted. No need to register. Please dress for weather and come to the Garden Entrance/Classroom; we will start in the Conservatory. Free Admission…donations appreciated. Three tour times are available: 11am, 1pm & 3pm


Community Partner: PRC Pinwheel 5K Trail Run and Fun Walk

Join us for PRC Pinwheel 5K Trail Run and Fun Walk!  It’s the race against child abuse! This cross-country style 5K will take place at the beautiful Donovan Park in Peoria, Illinois.  We will offer a timed 5K race for runners, a fun 5K walk, and kids’ run for the little ones! Preschool Party- Celebrating Wild!

Come party with the PlayHouse and Forest Park Nature Center at a Preschool Party! Discover our world through maker and S.T.E.A.M. activities, walks in nature, and stories depending on the location. This program is for preschool-aged children and their parents. Open Art Studio: Nature Art

Come create art with us! Join us each week to explore how illustrators bring imagination to life through various artistic processes. Each month features a different theme. This program has been made possible by a grant from the Community Foundation of Central Illinois and is partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.
