SUMMARY:Welcoming Walks: Women’s Hike to Wake Robin
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a hike on Wake Robin for a Women’s Only Trek. Connect with other adult Women who like hiking\, nature and meeting new people. There will be a short introduction and then we will be on our way. This hike will be a little over 3.5 miles. Prepare for hiking about 2 hours hour depending on breaks. This is a moderate level hike with slopes. Bring water\, snacks\, appropriate hiking gear\, sun protection\, closed toed shoes etc. \nAges 18+ \nWelcoming Walks are free but advanced registration is required.

DESCRIPTION:Everyone is welcome to attend Migratory Bird Hikes\, from nature lovers\, to photographers and birders. Programs will meet at the Forest Park Nature Center building with a quick introduction. \nBring your binoculars\, water\, hiking clothes etc. In addition\, binoculars will be available for loan. Most hikes are low-impact. \nAges: Adults 18+ \nAdvance registration is required. Please email kparke@peoriaparks.org ahead of time with questions or concerns. Fees are $5 per person or FREE for FPNC members.
