Book Court

The Noble Center Book Court carries on a tradition started by the Lakeview Museum… used books at affordable prices.

Open Monday-Friday, 8:30 am-4:30 pm and Monday evenings 5:30-7:30 pm in the lobby of the Noble Center.

 


Book Donations + Volunteers = GREAT BOOK SALES!

A great selection of pre-loved used books (fiction and nonfiction) for ALL AGES at great prices … for your own enjoyment or for gifts! Also available are:

  • Collectible books
  • CDs, DVDs
  • Games, Puzzles,
  • Select magazines

Not all of our books and materials can fit into the Book Court. If you are looking for something special, be sure to ask the volunteer at the Book Court desk or e-mail [email protected] The selection in the Book Court is always changing! One hundred percent of all proceeds from the Book Court and book sales help support Park District programs.

 

Donations

All Book Court books and materials are donated by individuals in the community. Thank you so much for taking the time to donate to the Peoria Park District’s Book Court at the Noble Center. Remember, 100 percent of the proceeds are used to support Peoria Park District programs. We LOVE to get donations at any time except right before and during the book sales.  Bring in your gently used adult and children’s paperbacks and hardback books, CDs and DVDs, games and puzzles.

The Book Court accepts the following:

  • Hardback and paperback children’s and adult’s books
  • CDs, DVDs, especially audio books
  • Games, puzzles

Please do not drop off cassettes, records, VHS tapes, encyclopedia sets (non-collectible) or large quantities of magazines. If you are not sure, please call ahead at (309) 681-2681.

DROP OFF LOCATION: A convenient donation receptacle is located at the Noble Center loading dock, located on the lower west side of the building. It is available to you 24 hours a day, because it is outside.

TAX DONATION FORM: Should you desire documentation for your taxes, a form is available to you in the Book Court. Just ask the volunteer, or you can e-mail: [email protected] to for a copy.
