Playing Fore Our Parks Thursday June 9
Grab your friends on Thursday, June 9 for 18 holes at Kellogg Golf Course for an outing like you’ve never played before! This is an outing that is truly designed for the non golfer. With this outing, we’re debunking the myth that golf is only for the highly skilled and is boring or intimidating!
Join us for a day full of golf and fun that turns your typical golf outing on its head. Kellogg Golf Course will be transformed to represent PPD aspects with holes that will feature interactive challenges, trivia questions, and more! We guarantee that this day will make you rethink the sport of golf, and we will test different skill sets, keep you entertained, and provide insights into one of the largest and oldest park districts in the state! Prizes will be awarded for trivia questions, certain challenges, etc. Plus, each member of the winning Foursome will receive a $150 gift card to the Peoria Park District!
Tickets are $400 per foursome and $100 per individual.

How is the Park District putting the Twist in our Golf With a Twist theme?
- At a surprise hole, participate in a Cross Over Sports Challenge where you will putt with a hockey stick or tee off with a tennis racket.
- Create your own Mini Golf Course on a hole with pieces of the Peoria PlayHouse’s “Imagination Playgound.”
- Tackle trivia questions for a prize at select holes to learn more about the Park District’s Environmental Stewardship efforts!
- Play “Wheel of Recreation” where different challenges will be set on a wheel and your spin dictates which challenge you take.
And for you golfers out there, we have designated some holes to be challenge/task/trivia free so you can showcase your skills!
