DESCRIPTION:The chrysanthemum takes center stage once again at Luthy Botanical Garden for a beloved Peoria fall tradition! This year’s annual Chrysanthemum Show\, “The Great Pumpkin\,” celebrates the colors and charm of the season with a festive display of beautiful mums\, pumpkins\, and autumn-inspired scenery throughout the Conservatory. \nStroll through the Garden and enjoy vibrant fall blooms\, creative seasonal displays\, and plenty of pumpkin-inspired touches that make this show a perfect autumn outing for visitors of all ages. \nAdmission is free\, though donations are appreciated to support the Garden and its programs. \nCome celebrate the magic of fall at “The Great Pumpkin” Chrysanthemum Show—right here in Peoria. \nThe show runs October 9 – November 1 and is open daily from 10:00am – 5:00pm.

SUMMARY:Welcoming Walks: Women's Halloween Hike
DESCRIPTION:Join us for a Women’s only trek and celebrate Halloween. Hike friendly costumes are encouraged. Connect with other adult women who like hiking\, nature and meeting new people. There will be a short introduction and then we will be on our way. Prepare for hiking about 2 hours depending on breaks. This is a harder level hike with slopes. Bring water\, snacks\, appropriate hiking gear\, layers\, closed toed shoes etc. \nThis is an 18+ hike \nPlease register for this program. \nFees: FREE | Welcoming Walks are no cost. Donations are welcome.

Families are invited to explore their creativity and make something all their own using recycled and repurposed materials from the Maker Space. \nCreate a seasonal decoration\, experiment with different materials\, or simply make something fun to take home.
