Becker Park
Peoria, IL
Whether you want to shoot hoops, skateboard or inline skate, or just enjoy the great outdoors, Becker Park is for you! Becker Park has a 0.6 mile trail which is paved and fairly level.
Bielfeldt Park
Peoria Heights, IL
Located just south of Detweiller, Bielfeldt is a great spot for a family picnic or a lunchtime walk. Bielfeldt Park has a 0.25 mile loop trail which is paved and fairly level.

Bradley Park
Peoria, IL
This large park, located adjacent to Bradley University, was established in the late 19th century. Filled with amenities that will appeal to dog lovers and sports fans alike, the park traverses a high bluff woodland that grades down into the floodplain of Dry Run Creek. Along with numerous picnic sites, the park also features a beautiful Japanese bridge. The roads through Bradley Park provide paved, but not so level hiking opportunities. Franciscan Recreation Complex
West Peoria, Peoria
The Peoria Park District has your one-stop shop in West Peoria for recreation, fitness, and fun!
Located in West Peoria, Franciscan Recreation Center features a full size gym that can be rented for limited special events, leagues, and practices/games. This location offers great select programming, including pickleball and volleyball open gyms and more! Starting in December or early 2023, FRC will be the new home for the Peoria Regional Learning Center.
Franciscan Recreation Complex has a 0.5 mile loop trail that is paved and fairly level.

Grand View Drive & Park
Peoria, IL
Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Grand View Drive is a 2.52 mile meandering pleasure driveway constructed in 1903. The “world’s most beautiful drive,” as President Theodore Roosevelt referred to it in a visit to Peoria in 1910, offers visitors numerous panoramic scenic views of the Illinois River Valley and the chance to view many historic and remarkable homes lining it. The linear park is especially beautiful in autumn, with the ever-changing colors of fall leaves. Grand View Drive has 1.75 miles of paved sidewalk for hiking.

John H. Gwynn Jr. Park

Located next to Carver Recreation Center in downtown Peoria, Gwynn Park is filled with fun for all seasons.

Proctor Recreation Center
South DuSable Street, Peoria
Proctor Center is a year-round recreational facility the offers two gyms, auditorium with stage, a lounge area with television, weight room, arts & crafts room, game room, outdoor basketball courts, playground, and a play field area.
The splashpad is open from 11am-7pm, Memorial Day through Labor Day. The pool is closed for the season!
Sommer Park North

Not to be confused with its neighbor to the south, Sommer Park North is a neighborhood park filled with activity. Sommer Park North has 1.25 miles
of paved, but not so level hiking opportunities and sports amenities!
Stadium Park
Peoria, IL
Stadium Park is a cooperative partnership between Peoria School District #150 and the Peoria Park District. Located off Lake Avenue, Stadium Park makes use of School District land directly adjacent to the Peoria Stadium complex. Stadium Park has a .45 mile loop for hiking that is paved and fairly level.
