Vocal Music Technique II

Ages 8+ can continue to improve your vocal skills and technique with this class that includes group and private lessons. Session starts 9/28.

Learning to Play Guitar

This easy instruction for beginners will have you playing your favorite songs in no time. Sessions for ages 9-14 begin 9/29.

Auditioning for Musical Theatre

Ages 8+ will learn all the skills they’ll need to improve their next audition! Session runs 9/30-12/9.

NEW! River City Chorale

Come join our new chorus for men and women and learn the basics of music theory, proper posture, breathing techniques, vocal warmups, etc. Session begins 9/30.

Peoria Pops Orchestra

Offering performance enhancement for musicians young and old, the Peoria Pops is conducted by a professional music educator. They accept students from Jr High through adult who want to improve by playing with a full orchestra. Some members were sent to us by private teachers; others are home school, public, or private school students who want a place to play and improve.

The Orchestra specializes in giving those who have not played for awhile a place to perform and bring back those wonderful music skills of their past. Pops also has a Swing Band and a Dixieland Band in which members can participate. Pops provides its members with the opportunity of performing in public at retirement and extended care facilities as well as town festivals, the Illinois State Fair and our ever popular holiday program which is performed annually in December. Membership fee is $30 a year.

Christmas with the Peoria Pops Orchestra

An evening of fun and musical entertainment! Local singers will perform with the orchestra.
